Pronomic – Ergonomic Lifting Trolleys

Ergonomic lifting trolleys helps reduce manual handling injuries and can help employers fulfill their obligation to protect the health and safety of their employees.

Why you need a Pronomic Lifting Trolley?

Back problems are a common result of manual handling which can lead to long term complications. Using ergonomic lifting equipment can help mitigate against many of the risk factors for back pain such as:

  • Repetitive strain injuries.
  • Bad posture in positions such as bending over or crouching.
  • Using excessive force to push or pull loads.
  • Maintaining the same position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Poor lifting technique such as twisting or leaning sideways.

Preventing injuries means there is less absenteeism, which helps increase productivity and save money. According to the charity BackCare, back pain is a common cause of sickness absence and costs the UK economy £35bn each year.
