In fact, our solutions are both designed and manufactured by our team of experts at Advanced Handling HQ, a purpose-built, state-of-the-art building in Peterborough.
Our close working environment provides us with the flexibility to deliver our Bespoke service, ensuring our customers’ requirements are met whilst maintaining our high “Made in Britain” standards.

FAQs about our impending relocation

We’ve been operating from Market Deeping in Lincolnshire since first opening the doors in 1977, so this is an exciting time!

The new building is fantastic, with more than double the manufacturing floor space and state of the art facilities. We’re looking forward to offering much faster lead times and even more options in terms of bespoke manufacturing capability.

We’ve put together below the answers to frequently asked questions regarding the move but if you’d like any further information, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Why is Advanced Handling moving premises?

Over the past year, we have experienced unprecedented demand for our lifting solutions. Our custom-built units, in particular, have been popular, bringing in many new customers who were unable to get what they needed elsewhere. This recent success has resulted in more manufacturing being brought to the UK from our overseas partners in the Sunnex Lifting Group.

This relocation to much larger, state of the art premises, will enable us to improve lead times and product performance, continuing to supply the range of products that you are familiar with as well as offering a greater range of options in terms of bespoke lifting solutions.

Where is Advanced Handling moving to?

The new Advanced Handling headquarters will be located at:

Newcombe Way
Orton Southgate
Peterborough

When will the move take place?

Office – from 11th December 2017
Factory – from 8th January 2018

Will I be able to visit the new premises?

Yes, we will be welcoming all customers to an open day in Spring 2018, on a date yet to be confirmed. This will include a tour of the facilities and other exciting activities.

Will Advanced Handling be shut down over Christmas?

The Office closes for Christmas on 22nd December 2017 and reopens on 2nd January 2018.

The last date for production and order shipment will be Friday 15th December 2017 from Market Deeping. This will resume from Orton Southgate on 8th January 2018.

We will be accepting deliveries at Market Deeping until Friday 15th December, After that all deliveries should be sent to Orton Southgate. In 2018, deliveries will be accepted from 2nd January.
