Designed & Manufactured in Britain

In 2016, we became the first materials handling company to be accepted into the Made in Britain campaign, an initiative created to support and promote British manufacturing. In fact, our solutions are both designed and manufactured by our team of experts at Advanced Handling HQ, a purpose-built, state-of-the-art building in Peterborough.
Our close working environment provides us with the flexibility to deliver our Bespoke service, ensuring our customers’ requirements are met whilst maintaining our high “Made in Britain” standards.

Covid-19 for ALL companies in the UK has had a huge impact. It has forced us to reconsider the way we operate internally and externally with our customers to make the health and safety of our staff during these unprecedented times an even greater priority i.e. 100% Covid secure whilst ensuring we deliver our products and services to the same standard, on time and with impeccable customer service.

One thing that we at Advanced Handling pride ourselves on is our customer centric approach to business. Over 90% of the time, we visit our customer’s site to gain first-hand experience of the company’s operations and how their processes would benefit from a lifting and handling solution. This also allows us to survey the site, area, and space ready to raise a proposal.

Having non-employees on site has been something that has been restricted over the last six months and as a result, we’re pleased to introduce our virtual site survey service!

Rather than booking a site visit, we will be able to set up a video conference call and guide you through our site survey form to gather all the necessary information without even visiting site we can then enter the information into our proposal system so you have an accurate proposal of your lifting solution in no time at all! During this process, we’ll also be able to assess the environment in which the solution will be installed within to predetermine any possible hazards to avoid any delays as we work through the process.

As a result of this new, streamlined approach, we have also generated a list of over 90 standard Mezzanine Goods Lift Specifications that we can manufacture and install in as quickly as 6 weeks which is in just half the time of the service we were providing just two years ago!

We were even able to manufacture and install an Elevation Mezzanine Goods Lift for the NHS for the UK Biocentre’s Covid test facility in just 4 weeks and they have since placed an order for an additional lift with us.

If you’d like to get the ball rolling on your Mezzanine Goods Lift project, contact the team to arrange a virtual site survey. If you can include the capacity you need it to lift, the platform size, lift height and your location – even better! We look forward to hearing from you and are happy to help!
