Who is TSL lighting?

TSL Lighting is a leading provider of professional lighting equipment and rigging solutions for events, tours, and productions across the UK and beyond. With a reputation for excellence and a growing client base, TSL recently expanded into a significantly larger facility to support their increasing operational demands.

After previously supplying a goods lift to their former premises, TSL lighting turned to Advanced Handling again for a solution to suit their new facility.

The Challenge

With rapid growth came new logistical challenges. TSL’s new facility included a multi-level mezzanine setup, and they needed an efficient, reliable way to move heavy and bulky equipment across three floors.

The lift would need to handle heavy-duty equipment, moving loads of up to 2,000kg daily. Security and control were also key concerns: with a large team on site, TSL wanted to limit access to a select few of the team. Safety and containment were essential too, especially given the nature of the loose equipment frequently transported.
The Solution

A heavy-duty, 3-stop Goods Lift was supplied and installed at TSL Lighting’s new facility. With 2,000kg capacity, the lift was designed to handle the demanding daily movement of bulky and often loose equipment between mezzanine levels. Installed at the edge of the mezzanine, the lift layout helped optimise available space without compromising access or workflow.

To support equipment containment, the lift was cladded on two sides. A key fob access system was included to ensure only authorised team members could operate the lift. TSL also opted for an ongoing service package, giving them continued peace of mind and support as part of their investment.
