Who is Paper Escape?

Paper Escape offers document scanning, storage and shredding services for companies. It converts paper files into an electronic format, storing the digital files so that you can access them remotely at any time. The original paper files are securely stored or shredded, conforming to all privacy and confidentiality requirements.

The Challenge

Expanding business necessitated a move for this dynamic business into new premises: a move made possible by grant funding. Despite business continuing to grow with more documents waiting to be scanned and/or shredded, budget constraints meant that boxes had to be manually moved around the building.

Continued growth and consideration of personal safety, meant that this manual approach was no longer practical. It was clear that mechanical assistance was needed to deal with the sheer volume of boxes being moved from the ground floor loading bay to the 1st floor mezzanine level. All lifting options were investigated including scissor lifts. A mechanical lift was deemed the best option due to the weight of the boxes needing to be moved.
