With a busy production line running continuously, Trouw Nutrition could not afford any operational downtime. They required a fast and efficient solution to replace an existing goods lift, with minimal impact on their workflow.

The project involved Trouw Nutrition removing a lift previously supplied by another provider, ready for it to be replaced with a new heavy duty goods lift from Advanced Handling. The new goods lift needed to integrate seamlessly into their current layout, all within a very tight timeframe.

Advanced Handling designed, supplied and installed a 1500kg goods lift within a tight timescale, ensuring there was no disruption to Trouw Nutrition’s ongoing operations.

The lift was tailored to suit the working conditions, featuring vision windows to improve visibility and clear up and down indicators to show direction of travel. A solid enclosure was also incorporated to protect the lift from the site’s dusty conditions, supporting long-term reliability and performance.

By removing the existing lift ahead of installation, Trouw Nutrition enabled a smooth and efficient handover, allowing Advanced Handling to complete the installation out of operational hours, eliminating the risk of costly downtime.

The through-the-roof installation, completed using a crane, allowed the lift to be positioned quickly and effectively within the limited timeframe. The result is a reliable lifting solution that supports the ongoing movement of goods, improves site safety by reducing manual handling, and is built to perform in a demanding environment.
