Who are Blue elephant AV?

Blue Elephant AV is a creative technical production company delivering high-quality audio-visual solutions for live events, corporate shows, and installations. With a growing workload and increasing equipment volumes, they needed a safer, more efficient way to handle goods movement at their site

The Challenge

Blue Elephant AV required a robust and reliable lifting solution to support the movement of equipment between ground and first floor. With daily loading and unloading of heavy items, including flight cases and AV gear, the lift needed to be easy to use, secure, and built to handle regular use in a fast-paced environment.

They approached Advanced Handling looking for a straightforward, durable system that would meet their needs without complexity.
The Solution

Advanced Handling installed a two-stop, freestanding goods lift with a 1,000kg capacity and a useable platform measuring 2,500mm x 1,500mm. A ramp was included at the lower level to allow easy loading without the need for a pit, keeping installation simple and disruption minimal.

Twin outward-opening interlocked gates were fitted at each landing to ensure safe operation and compliance with safety standards. The freestanding design made it possible to position the lift flexibly within the existing layout, helping Blue Elephant AV maximise their available space
