Who is TSL lighting?
TSL Lighting is a well-established supplier of lighting and rigging equipment for major events, tours, and productions across the UK. With a reputation for delivering professional, large-scale solutions, their behind-the-scenes operations require reliable, heavy-duty equipment handling on a daily basis.
-
The Challenge
TSL needed a high-capacity goods lift to support regular movement of heavy and bulky items between ground and first floor. With large flight cases and equipment forming part of their daily workflow, the lift had to be durable, efficient and designed to match the volume and nature of their operations.
They were also looking for a finish that reflected their brand, creating a smart, cohesive look on site.
-
The Solution
Advanced Handling supplied a two stop, twin mask goods lift with a 2,000kg capacity and a large 3,500mm x 2,500mm usable platform. The lift was installed with a ramp at the lower level, avoiding the need for a pit, and featured a travel height of 3,698mm.
For ease of access and control, bi-folded enclosure doors were included along with a high-intensity usage powerpack to support the lift’s frequent daily use. The mast and platform were painted in RAL 4005 Blue Lilac to align with TSL’s corporate branding and add a personalised finish to the install.
-
The Benefits
The new lift has helped streamline TSL’s goods handling processes, allowing larger and heavier equipment to be moved safely and efficiently across floors. The durable design is suited to the demands of their busy environment while the custom colour ties it in with their brand aesthetic.
By combining performance with presentation, the solution delivers both the practical function and the professional look TSL were aiming for.
