The Challenge

As part of a upgrade to their facility, PSP AV were in the process of installing a new mezzanine floor. To make it work, they needed a safe and efficient way to transport heavy equipment including loaded flight cases between the ground and first floor. The lift had to be robust, easy to operate and able to handle daily use in a busy warehouse environment.

The Solution

Advanced Handling supplied and installed a two-stop mezzanine goods lift with a 1000kg capacity and a useable platform size of 2,500 x 1,500mm tailored o the size of the load. The Goods lift was positioned through an aperture in the new mezzanine floor to maximise floor space and streamline movement between levels.

A ramp was included to allow easy loading from ground level, avoiding the need for a pit and keeping installation simple.

The design focused on durability and practicality to support the transport of flight cases and heavy AV kit. Every element was built with PSP’s daily operations in mind.
