AII StaffMike Prince – Managing Director

Mike joined the company in January 2005 from the Materials Handling Industry in which he worked for over fifteen years. He principally worked for Linde forklifts where he progressed through all levels of the Sales Operation culminating in running the team covering the Northern Home Counties and East Anglia.

Steve Bumphrey – Commercial Director

Steve joined the company in June 2007 from the Materials Handling Industry in which he worked for over 23 years. He principally worked for Nissan and Linde forklifts where he progressed through all levels of the Service operation, culminating in managing a team of Contract Managers dedicated to providing a one stop shop for all their material handling requirements.

Liz Middleton – Operations Director

Liz has worked for Advanced Handling for over 20 years covering most of the departments within the business. Employing this thorough knowledge of all aspects of our business allows her to ensure the smooth running of the business on a day-to-day basis.

Simon Hooper – Technical Manager

Simon joined the company in April 2000 after successful completion of an Engineering Design degree at the University of Warwick where he developed his thirst for engineering & an ‘eye’ for design detail. Since joining the company, Simon has had a major influence in the design of any new product, improvements to our existing range and the bespoke design service offered by Advanced Handling.

Steve Lindley – Project Engineer

Steve joined Advanced Handling in 2007 as a project engineer. Steve graduated in 2001 in Integrated Engineering and has worked in automation and materials handling ever since.

Dawn Short – Sales Office Manager

Dawn joined Advanced Handling in September 2002. Prior to joining Advanced Handling, Dawn worked for EMAP Publishing as Production Manager. Dawn oversees sales to our Dealer and Catalogue side of the operation. She has built up a significant number of accounts covering all types and sizes of businesses.

Mark Lowe – Key Account Manager (South)

Mark joined the company in January 2009 as the Key Account Manager for the South of the UK. He has worked as a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager in the Scissor Lift / Loading Bay Industry for the past 12 years.

Jon Keyes – Key Account Manager (North)

Jonathan joined the team in June 2009. He has an engineering and technical background with over 7 years sales experience. Previously working for Marley Eternit and OTIS Lifts he has bought with him an excellent knowledge base and skill set. With a genuine drive Jonathan will add great value to Advanced Handling

Jane Thornthwaite –Assistant Accountant

Jane has been with Advanced since October 2006. Prior to joining Advanced Handling, Jane worked in a private accountancy practice for 5 years where she was Office Manager. She is responsible for credit control and purchase ledger.

Steph Randall – Operations Administrator

Steph has been with Advanced Handling since June 2008. She has a varied role in the company looking after purchasing and sales. Previously she worked for John Lewis whilst completing a BA Hons degree in English.

Hayley Colangelo – Sales Administrator

Hayley has been with Advanced since January 2007. She is responsible for customer demo's, transport, order input, servicing, warranty processing and many aspects of administration throughout the business.

Louisa Wallace – Marketing Executive

Louisa joined Advanced Handling in 2010 as Marketing Executive. Since graduating from Southampton University with a Marketing & Advertising degree, Louisa has built up 6 years Marketing experience prior to joining Advanced Handling.

Rebecca Dilloway - Sales Account Executive

Rebecca has been with Advanced Handling since February 2010. She graduated from Loughborough University in 2008 with a degree in Ergonomics and previously worked for a firm re-designing station control rooms for the London Underground.
