Mike Prince

Managing Director (aka ‘Top Dog’)

Mike is a true journeyman of the materials handling business having spent 15 years in the industry before joining Advanced in 2005. His business knowledge and forward thinking approach help to keep Advanced on the front line of innovation within our industry.

Advanced Knowledge: When he was younger, Mike wanted to be a TV Cameraman and now enjoys a wide variety of personal interests, including football, music and live comedy.

Liz Middleton

Commercial Director

Having worked at Advanced for nearly 25 years, Liz knows everything there is to know about our company and the challenges our business presents. Her unique knowledge helps to ensure everything at Advanced runs like clockwork.

Advanced Knowledge: Paella loving Liz wanted to be a Costume Designer when she was a child (we’re glad she didn’t get distracted by the bright lights as we don’t know what we’d do without her!).

Louisa Wallace

Indirect Sales & Marketing Manager

Louisa manages all marketing and promotional activity within the business. It’s her job to ensure that we let everybody know about the exciting things we’ve been up to and ensure our sales team have all the tools they need to supply our customers.

Advanced Knowledge: Louisa graduated from Southampton University with a degree in Marketing and enjoys competitive showjumping with her horse, Red.

Greg Owen

Operations Manager                                                                                           

Greg is famed at Advanced for his extensive product knowledge which comes from many years at the forefront the materials handling industry. His job is to oversee the service department, so he's the guy responsible for ensuring our installations go smoothly and that every piece of equipment we deliver is kept in tip-top shape.

Advanced Knowledge: Greg is never happier than when he's munching on a North Staffs Oatcake - though little known outside the potteries, he insists they are one of Stoke's true culinary delights!

Jason Northern

Factory Manager

Jason manages the Advanced Handling factory and overseas our team of factory operatives. It’s his job to ensure that all our products are manufactured and despatched on time, and meet the high standards set by our clients (and ourselves).

Advanced Knowledge: Advanced Handling has been Jason’s home for his entire working life. When he’s not busy on the factory floor, he’s an active chap and regularly plays football, badminton and squash.

Rebecca Dilloway

Sales Account Executive

Rebecca looks after key client accounts at Advanced. When she's not making sure our clients are fully happy with their projects, you'll probably find her singing lead vocals in her band (or nibbling cheese and chocolate)!

Advanced Knowledge: Rebecca graduated from Loughborough University in 2008 with a degree in Ergonomics. She previously worked for a firm redesigning station control rooms for the London Underground.

Lisa Marie Butler

After Sales Support Co-ordinator

Elvis fan Lisa Marie is responsible for the day to day running of our in-house service department. Not only does she book in warranties, repairs and product services across the whole of the UK, but she also manages the diary for every one of our engineers – Impressive!

Advanced Knowledge: Lisa Marie loves nothing more than a hearty roast dinner and outside of work she fills her time with fitness classes, dancing, cars, food and gardening… sometimes she even manages to slot in a brief rest!

Jane Thornthwaite

Assistant Accountant

Jane is responsible for credit control and purchase ledgers. Before joining our team, she worked in a private accountancy practise for 5 years as Office Manager.

Advanced Knowledge: Jane loves nothing more than a nice cuppa (although fish and chips come a close second) and she once did a charity trek in the Sahara Desert!
