At its innovative manufacturing facility in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Xaar had a material handling concern which needed resolving on a short timescale in order to free up space in its existing production line.  The company experienced a hige increase in demand for inkjet heads and as a result needed to free up space in its existing production line as well as create a central warehouse function and inspection facility.  This meant a greater increase in stock levels which all needed lifting from ground level onto the mezzanine floor.  Advanced Handling was approached to provide a solution which would enable large quantities of stock to be moved efficiently as well as comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

Advanced Handling\'s design team worked with Graham West at Xaar to supply a Mezzanine Floor Lift with a capacity of 300kg and a lifting height of 3000mm.  The equipment supplied not only met all of the organisations requirements but also was delivered within a tight timescale.  "Advanced Handling displayed a genuine care aspect and a real interest in meeting our objectives.  I had a great sense of re-assurance knowing that AHL had the confidence and experience to exceed our expectations and most importantly would not let us down" says Graham.
