Cobham Mission Equipment is universally recognised as the most technically advanced Aerial Refuelling supplier in the world.

During a risk assessment at their new site in Wimborne, Dorset, some Health and Safety issues were highlighted and as a result Operations Manager Paul White recognised the need to eliminate risk to staff who were moving stock between levels using the stairs.  This presented several problems including fatigue, risk of dropping stock - damage to items and strain on factory workers backs as well as a less efficient process.

Cobham begun the search for a suitable solution and after investigating 3 alternative companies, they approached Advanced Handling to supply a Mezzanine Lift which was capable of raising to 4.2 metres and lift a capacity of 250kgs.  "Advanced Handling showed excellent knowledge about the product, the salesman listened to our needs and understood our requirements completely" says Paul White.  He is also delighted that the lift exhibits all of the necessary safety features that Cobham need.

Since the new Mezzanine Lift has been installed, Cobham have noticed a distinct improvement in both Health and Safety and the efficiency of the process for moving stock.
