Who is TTI?

TTI Group Ltd provides a range of Heat and Surface Treatments to the UK engineering industry. Their Letchworth plant has a large Vacuum and HIP processing department containing numerous furnaces of varying sizes and specifications capable of treating a large cross-section of materials for many different applications.

The Challenge

TTI wanted to introduce a process which meant operators could increase productivity and efficiency with heightened health and safety. Advanced Handling was selected to provide a new Pit Mounted Scissor Lift which would be capable of lifting special metal with optimum care and also be extremely reliable.

The Solution

Advanced Handling worked alongside TTI to understand their challenge and health and safety requirements and successfully designed, built and installed a bespoke scissor lift large enough to lift a large cross-section of materials, many of which were very delicate.
