Who is Inspired Pet Nutrition?

Inspired Pet Nutrition (IPN), founded in 1923, is the manufacturer of some of the most well-known, market-leading pet food brands in the UK including Wagg Foods and Harringtons.

The Challenge

IPN needed a goods lift to transport their bins of pet food from the ground floor to the first floor. Advanced Handling Ltd had to design and manufacture the lift specifically to fit and lift the bins safely and efficiently.
The Solution

Advanced Handling designed, manufactured, and installed their pit-mounted, custom, 2,000kg goods lift extending the standard platform to 1,750 x 1,750mm to enable them to fit their bins in.

The lift transported the bins from ground floor to the second floor, 5,636mm above and the trough gates, tread plate and bridging plates installed enabled operators to load the lift easily and safely.

They also changed the orientation of the gates to create the through gate arrangement required to fit in with their current factory set-up.

IPN requested that the RAL colour of the lift was in keeping with their brand to ensure it fits in aesthetically in their factory, a service Advanced Handling offers as part of their standard, modified and bespoke speciality.
The Benefits

Thanks to their Advanced Handling Mezzanine Goods Lift, Design 911 was now able to transport stock more safely and efficiently up and onto their mezzanine floor increasing their storage capacity significantly.
