Design 911 approached Advanced Handling as they needed a solution to improve the efficiency of the distribution of loads throughout their space-restricted building and make more of their mezzanine floor.

Advanced Handling Ltd designed, manufactured and installed a mesh enclosed, 500kg Mezzanine Goods Lift with a usable platform of 1,350 x 1,450mm to transport their stock from the ground floor, up to storage on the mezzanine floor.

The lift also featured twin interlocking gates on both the ground floor and mezzanine floor which opened outwards to maximise the usable space within. The interlocking feature eliminates the risk of operators entering the lift’s shaft whilst it is raising or lowering.

Advanced Handling carried out a PDI before manufacturing to solve any challenges that could occur during installation, particularly as the site was so space restricted and as this was a new lift, they also worked collaboratively with the company cutting the hole into the existing mezzanine floor to ensure it was the right size. This is something that Advanced Handling are exceedingly experienced in.

Thanks to their Advanced Handling Mezzanine Goods Lift, Design 911 was now able to transport stock more safely and efficiently up and onto their mezzanine floor increasing their storage capacity significantly.
