It is recommended that your unit is maintained on a regular basis and it is the responsibility of the employer to ensure that the operator has the knowledge to ensure the safe use of the product and make sure that the operating manuals which are delivered with the units are available to all operators at all times. We strongly recommend that before any maintenance is carried out on these units the authorised personnel read through the manual to ensure that they are familiar with the unit. Only qualified or trained personnel should be permitted to maintain or repair the product.

Servicing and maintaining your manual handling equipment is crucial to help prevent accidents or injury. Furthermore, you will maintain or reduce insurance costs, maintain a high quality of product and prevent production downtime therefore saving you both time and money. LOLER regulations have been put in place to aim to reduce risks to people’s health and safety from lifting equipment provided for use at work. Lifting equipment needs to be examined in use at periods specified in the Regulations (i.e at least six monthly for accessories and equipment used for lifting people and at a minimum, annually for all other equipment. All examination work should be performed by a competent person and following a Thorough Examination or inspection of any lifting equipment, a report is submitted by the competent person to the employer to take the appropriate action. Servicing your unit regularly will not only ensure that it is running at its full capability but will also help it to pass its LOLER inspection. Think of it as the equivalent to your cars MOT!

Installation

Advanced Handling offers a broad range of options for delivery and installation of all our products. This spans from simply delivering to site through to specialist delivery services incorporating off loading and positioning at the customer's premises. We can also offer a full on-site installation taking care of ground works, electrical installation and full induction training on the equipment supplied.
